fugu no aji

The blowfish (fugu) is considered a delicacy, but preparing it requires considerable skill. If the poison in the fish's body is not successfully removed, it can cause death.

tsuki no fune

There is a play on words in the original. Tsumi can mean "sin" as well as "loading." The first phrase could thus be rendered "sinless."

Tsuki no fune means, as translated, "ship of the moon," but the phrase can also be understood as "ship beneath the moon."
